My girl had never tried prime rib before, so I figure don this trip to Vegas I would take her to try some. Found this place on Yelp after some extensive searching and figured it was the right place at the right price to see if she even liked it. The staff was courteous and attentive all throughout our mail. We went with the house cut for about $28 and got served bread and butter, prime rib cooked to order, house salad and a baked potato. It wad definitely worth it and a enjoyable experience. To top it all off there a tequila bar right outside and with happy Hour drinks for as little as $3. You cannot beat that!

Located in South Point Hotel and Casino. Prime rib was soft and tender. Never had English style before. It is 12 oz thinly cut into 3 slices. My wife had the 10 oz special. Even the fatty parts were soft. The meal was filling enough to skip dessert. Good service, was fast and efficient. Reservation is required as they get very busy. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us. Will go again.

This is a great place! I bring everyone that comes into Vegas there and they are very happy when we are done with dinner. I would say we go here at least 10 times a year.

This place has been on my list forever, but never seemed to match my desire with their open days. Yesterday was an exception. One of my out of town guests was craving prime rib so I took him down for dinner . We had an early reservation and when we checked in, were seated promptly. The server team was Steven as the server and Roberto as the busser. Water and a basket of warm bread served promptly. Drink orders taken. My drink (Jameson on the rocks) was only $6.50 and the cocktail my dining partner had was $13.50. Tableside salads prepared, generous portions good crunch to the lettuce. We both opted for the south point cut of the prime rib with baked potatoes. Service was quick. Both prime ribs cooked to perfection. Potatoes dressed at the table as well. Creamy as well as classic horseradish served as well. (By the way, at southpoint the potato and salad are included in the price of the entree). This is appreciated by me since I just don't feel paying 10-15.00 for a simple alacarte naked baked potato is worth it, even for Vegas. Steve brought an on the house dessert for my dining companion since it was his birthday. Would have given this place five stars but they do not offer a military discount (I know that we're commenting on the food) but offering a military discount in a military friendly town especially at a large casino makes a difference at least to me.

We arrived for dinner. We did not have reservations. You could see the dining room was busy. We were given a 9:45 pm return time. It's cool that we got a text message when our table was ready at 9:30 pm. We were one of the last few tables to leave. Most employees wore a plaid shirt and jeans. One woman had a beige like jacket and hat checked on us towards the end of the meal. Our server and assistant were nice but we needed to ask for a water refill and no ice tea refill either.

I figured because the pricing was so affordable that the food would be so so. Not the case. We had an excellent dinner. We had the south point cut prime rib and the Cajun spiced prime rib -- both were excellent. The baked and mashed potatoes were fabulous. The only issue we had was the salads.. we thought they were just okay. Even the bread was good! The service, Steven, was excellent. We will definitely be back. $30 for salad, potato and prime rib? You can't find that anymore! Located in the Southpoint Casino. Upstairs, just off the parking garage. I recommend reservations. They had multiple drink specials for $9. I had a Cosmo! Lots of wine that was reasonable priced. The restaurant is a bit dark and had an old school Vegas vibe. I recommend!

Went in for a 4th of July dinner, 20 mins before closing. They seated our party of 3 without hesitation, no wait. Ellis Island is our usual go to for affordable prime rib, but been meaning to try out this place as an alternative option, slightly closer and easier access to us, living in Henderson. All 3 of us got prime rib, and everyone was more than satisfied. Medium rare is the way we like it, I was afraid coming so close to closing it would be more over than we liked, but was pleasantly surprised it was not. Flavor was good, pretty tender for the most part. It's good quality, but not the very highest level grade of meat. So that's why it's more affordable, and that's more than fine with me (Ellis Island same thing). If I had one small "complaint" is that they really trim the meat, so there is minimal fat and cap. It's cleaner and prettier, but sometimes I prefer to trim it myself and have the guilty pleasure option of having a little more of the outer layer. The sides were ok, salad and split pea soup. The baked potato I had heard a lot about on YouTube videos, and it was pretty good but rich, and couldn't finish due to my large portion of meat. Next time wife and I will try splitting the cowboy cut! I also heard on the videos that the desserts aren't the best so we passed on those, plus we were too full anyway. Service was attentive and not pretentious. They're working hard and aim to please. But I'm happy to say that we found another spot to add to the affordable prime rib rotation, something that is not easy to find. I think South Pointe has a few quality options in their casino with Coronado Cafe and the seafood bar. With easy access, ample parking and reasonable prices, it's a great option for locals and visitors in the know. No tax on tips!

On a quest for trying Prime Rib loved by locals, we found ourselves at Primarily Prime Rib. They have an old school vibe with service beside the table and a vintage dining hall. The price point can't be beat. $25 for the English Cut. Cooked to perfection and paired with some of the cheapest cocktails I've seen in town at $9. The lemon drop did not skimp on the hard liquor either. For taste, the prime rib was juicy and tender while the sides were decent. The cheesy mashed potatoes was more just regular mash with a bit of cheese and the baked potato skin was salty. Definitely delivered in terms of value for price!

Had a wonderful dinner with my wife, Craig T, Peter Y, and Shawn. The ambiance of the restaurant is up scale.fine dining, yet I was dressed casually. Craig T recommended the Prime Rib. For the price of 25.95 , you get a generous portion (10 or 12 ounces in not sure). Your choice of soup or salad. The Prime Rib was very tender. The service was excellent .I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Enjoy

The service was great, with attentive waiters. The ambiance was nice, very steakhouse vibes. The starter bread was delicious. Impressed that the butter pats were molded into roses. Classy! We had both the South Point Cut and Rodeo Cut Prime Rib. They were done nicely. The Rodeo Cut one was very thick! Toward the center of the piece, it was starting to taste a little mealy. The pieces closer to the fat were better and more flavorful. My accompanying seasonal vegetables were good. For dessert, we had the Country Kitchen Blueberry Pie and the Hot Apple Brown Betty. We liked the blueberry pie better than the Brown Betty. Thought it had a better flavor. Enjoyable prime rib dinner!
